چکیده

Preplant nitrogen (N) application, which involves placing nutrients in the soil before seeding, has been an integral part of crop production systems for decades. Some producers are known to apply N at least 21 d planting. This may increase loss and lower grain yield. study evaluated effect timing rate application on winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) yield use efficiency (NUE). An experiment with a factorial arrangement treatments was set up randomized complete block design three replications. Treatments included four rates (0, 45, 90, 135 kg ha–1) each applied 7 or 30 planting, Feekes 5 (FK5). Grain analyzed using LECO CN dry combustion analyzer. The difference method [Grain from (fertilized plot – check plot)]/N used compute NUE. Nitrogen significantly affected (P ≤ .01). Although be temporally spatially variable, approximately 90 ha–1 required obtain yields that differ markedly check. Mid-season (FK5) had similar preplant two site-years increased one site 2020. Out sites, substantial NUE both years 0.11). In this case, by as much 9.5% midseason compared planting time.

Investigation of Rate and Method of Nitrogen Application on Nitrogen Use Efficiency and Seed Yield of Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.)

Nitrogen fertilizer management has a special priority for safflower economic production. Increasing the efficiency of this element, in addition to increasing economic benefits, also reduces environmental pollution. Therefore, a factorial experiment was conducted in the form of statistical design of complete randomized blocks with three replications at Safiabad Agricultural and Natural Resources...

Study of genetic diversity in bread wheat germplasm using nitrogen uptake and nitrogen use efficiency characteristics

In order to evaluate the traits related to nitrogen utilization and to identify the superior genotypes, 33 bread wheat landraces along three check cultivars of Chamran and Koohdasht (from Iran) and Gobustan (from the Republic of Azerbaijan) were studied in simple lattice statistical design with two replications under two treatments of non-usage and application of 200 kg/ha ammonium nitrate fert...

Optimizing nitrogen application rate and plant density for improving cotton yield and nitrogen use efficiency in the North China Plain

Plant population density (PPD) and nitrogen (N) application rate (NAR) are two controllable factors in cotton production. We conducted field experiments to investigate the effects of PPD, NAR and their interaction (PPD × NAR) on yield, N uptake and N use efficiency (NUE) of cotton using a split-plot design in the North China Plain during 2013 and 2014. The main plots were PPDs (plants m-2) of 3...
